Description

This course will provide an overview of the various ways in which key interest holders in the community are engaged in the planning, development, and oversight of a Coordinated Access system.

Please note, you may experience some choppy audio as we work to resolve technical issues in this course. These issues tend to be isolated to the beginning of videos, and improve as the video progresses.

There are six courses within the Coordinated Access series. The Governance and Community Participation course is the third in the series and builds on information learned in the previous courses: the BNL Intro and Coordinated Access Intro courses.

Learning Objectives
  • Be able to differentiate between governance models and understand the functions of governance in a Coordinated Access (CA) System
  • Understand and have strategies for engaging partners and key interest holders in your CA System
  • Have the ability to assess community progress in developing governance structures and processes, and engage partners in Coordinated Access by completing a series of Scorecard exercises
  • Understand and know how to document your governance structures, and guiding principles, and initiate a Coordinated Access Guide for our community
